This report highlights the growing issue of car dependency in new greenfield housing developments across England. It builds upon observations made during visits to new housing developments as part of an earlier study. This report revisits some of these sites to evaluate their progress in terms of sustainable development and examines new sites in Leeds and York to provide further insights into modern housing trends and planning practices.
